Cuando llegaba la hora de comer, la pajarita no se quería sentar en la mesa a disfrutar de la comida. En su lugar, le encantaba ir de allà para acá, buscando cualquier cosa llamativa que le "prestara" su atención.
La pajarita por correr, volar y revolotear mientras comía, comenzó a quejarse de unos intensos dolores de barriga. Entonces, llamó a su tío, que era doctor...era el Dr. Pajarito.
El Dr. Pajarito, le dijo..."Pajarita, pero si tu comes tan sano, tan bien...me cuesta creer que te duela la barriga...¿qué haces cuando te sientas a la mesa a comer?"
La pajarita le responde, "sentarme a comer?!... No, yo nunca me siento, me encanta volar y conversar mientras como"

La pajarita, en lugar de hacerle caso a su tío, siguió volando y revoloteando de rama en rama...de arbolito en arbolito, mientras conseguía semillitas, florecitas y gusanitos para comer.
Un día, la pajarita no pudo soportar más sus dolorcitos de barriga y su mamá, la Sra. Pájara, tuvo que llevarla al Hospital de Pajaritos. Allá, los doctores le dijeron a la Pajarita que debía ser obediente y disfrutar de la hora de la comida en familia.
La pajarita despuès de ese día entendió que para todo hay un momento, que la comida es divertida cuando se comparte con seres queridos y que aunque el tiempo es oro, siempre hay espacio para volar.
