Well yesterday I saw this movie that suddenly tele-transported me to my experience in Tu-ran-oh! That is why I decided to do this post in English, and also it can help me to practice my composing in another way (something different than corporative notes).
So, yes I was shocked, 'cause I started feeling that I was just there, at Maryglen Residence, in the 112 Room, or probably at Dundas station, Eaton Center, Bay Street or ESH. I can not believe it has been so long since I get there. For me it has been just a couple of months since I arrived here. But anyways...I am here to confirm that living by myself was one of the best experiences I have ever had.
When I was alone, I had to do many things I usually don't have to do. For example, I had to cook, manage my budget (well now I do this), clean my fridge and room, pay bills (I do this now too haha), and go to school without my parents' monitoring.
My friends weren't there either so I was technically all by myself. Even though I missed everything here -cause I spent almost all the winter there, and of course, Christmas- I think I really enjoyed being alone. I could behave the way I wanted, and I was not worried because of the other ones' comments.
I did everything I couldn't do when I was at university. I walked "drunk" with my Mexican and Japanese friends by the streets at 3 am. And it wasn't bad or dangerous at all. I actually dated and I did things that I wouldn't have done here. I went with my teacher to buy underwear!!! Jesus Christ now I remember ahahaha.
Anyways. This post is to say that I haven't forgotten all what I lived in Toronto. I still remember Kenji's and his babies, Sandra and her Italian gestures, Jan and his arrogance, Azu and her perfectionism, Ileana, Michiko, Erika and their friendship, Marilú's and Sandra's outstanding support... Patricia's smile, Alejandro, Rocio, Ivanovich and our Latin parties... Natalie and her perfect pronunciation... Rafael's love and Charmaine's laughter. I can't wait to see you guys again. Those were my days... the time of my life I would say.

I guess your entry could be summed up in the feeling of responsibility that living by oneself implies; in the same way that making your own decisions and managing your own time give you a sense of freedom without one´s parents, siblings or other relatives breathing down one's neck.
I'm glad that you got to experience what living by yourself was like and that you also got a positive outcome out of it. I'm sorry, however, that you can't go back to it, and that you miss it so much. I think it's nice that you have such great memories of it and of the people you met over there. It seems like they mean a lot to you.
Keep fighting for your dreams though, because reality becomes a dream when dreams become reality.
I'm sure in the future you could go live in Canada or some other place where your professional and personal goals can be fulfilled and where you feel like you've finally found the happiness you're still looking for. Don't get too caught up on it though... Remember that everything has a downside to it and that we're never completely happy.
